From the first moment we arrived at Cable Beach, we knew it would be something special. For our initial shoot, we could not have asked for anything better than spending it at this location.
The yachts off on the stunning view of the horizon + Incredible hues of sunset where you can gaze at the lines of camels + the magnificent sparkle of dazzling stars everywhere — all things that make this project so special.

Senior Cultural Advisor, Dianne Appleby welcomed us to the Country + spoke to us about the past, present, + future of Rubbi (Broome) + her role in it. Rubbi is an area of vast open land + incredible culture — a significant combination of overwhelming past + present.
Numerous lovely beaches in the vicinity + wonderful sites for trekking + swimming in the clear seas are breathtakingly magnificent to experience. It was amazing to be able to visit this region of the country firsthand + it helped us appreciate Australia's natural beauty on a whole new level.

It has both aesthetic + cultural value to the Yawuru people. The red rock cliff face overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean water at Gantheaume Point comprises a stretch of white sandy beaches — where people gather at the beach on the weekend to launch boats + spend the day relaxing, swimming, + enjoying a cold drink at sunset with family + friends.
Despite its reputation as a sleepy + charming destination, Broome hides centuries-old stories + a 22km long peninsula landscape coated in a range of vibrant colours, so wild that you will be immediately pulled into this tiny town.

We loved this place! Excellent coffee + beautiful fresh salads + poke bowls for lunch + the most refreshing fresh juices + smoothies. Even better, they offer drive-through service, so you can head straight back to the beach immediately after eating here.
